My art therapy sessions are designed to provide a safe, calming space where healing can unfold through creativity. These sessions focus on the process of creating rather than the outcome. There’s no pressure to make “perfect” art. Instead, the goal is to experience the sense of peace, release, and clarity that comes from simply allowing yourself to create.
Art therapy can be especially helpful for those navigating grief, PTSD, addiction, ongoing health challenges, anxiety, depression, or even just the need for deep relaxation. Rehabilitation Centers, nursing homes, church groups, one-on-one settings are ideal.
Through guided and intuitive art practices, you’ll have the opportunity to express emotions that may be difficult to put into words, giving them a place to move, transform, and be understood.
No prior experience with art is needed. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or haven’t created in years, you are welcome here. These sessions are about exploration, self-connection, and finding your own natural rhythm. It’s about letting go of expectations and allowing yourself to flow freely in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
Art becomes the outlet, the language, and the pathway to healing, helping you reconnect with yourself and discover a sense of calm that carries beyond the session.
Sessions can be held via Zoom, or if you are local to the Altoona, AL area, I can come to you. Prices vary depending on location and how many people will be attending. It can even be a one-on-one session. Complete the form under "Contact Us" to let me know what you are looking for.
